It comes in the form of a glass cylinder filled with a chemical solution that will activate automatically at elevated temperatures in case of fire. BONPET has a different set of working principles from conventional extinguisher in such a way that the former can function in an automatic mode, manual throwing and diluting with water. BONPEcTan be called the "three-in-one" innovative extinguisher. History BONPET was invented by Japanese chemical expert Mr. Jiro Niizuma. The catalyst for the technological breakthrough was the inventor's experiences in a major fire which followed from a serious earthquake in Tokyo, Japan. Conventional fire fighting methods failed to prevent significant loss of life and property. Witnessing this tragedy, Mr. Jiro Niizuma realized that the key solution was to develop an extinguisher which anybody can use to extinguish small fires quickly and easily before the small fires expand into an unstoppable fire storm. How it works The BONPET X-Fire ampoule activates automatically in case of a fire, extinguishing the fire immediately. Due to fire the temperature increases and as a result of it the extinguisher liquid also gets heated and expands in the ampoule. When the temperature of the liquid reaches 85C°+/- 5C° it gets converted into vapor and as a result of the changing of the liquid state a pressure is generated breaking the glass into pieces.
